We invite you back to the future through a decade of Loot Recordings. To celebrate our 10-year anniversary of artists and sound, we present “Loot Recordings: 10, Pt. 1”, a remix concept featuring label artists revisiting and remixing their own tracks. The end result is a fresh perspective on some our our most celebrated releases.
The release kicks off with the melodic Afro rhythms of Ayala (IT) and seamlessly transitions into the gentle house sounds of NODO & Mule (Arg). Next, we delve into the deep dub vibes of Pedro Capelossi, followed by a blistering stormer from Markus Mehta. Pedro Sanmartin offers a tougher rendition of “Dysania,” setting the stage perfectly for Daniel van der Zwaag’s “Jupiter,” which provides a soft landing with its intricate piano chords and spaced-out sounds.
Founded in 2014, Loot Recordings’ vision is to support new and emerging artists with a distinct sound and to collaborate with more established names. Part One of our anniversary compilation is set for release on June 7, 2024 with Part Two following later in July. We’re just getting started…
